SelvasAI, Mediana, EzCareTech announced on the 23rd that they signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop an AI-based smart ward integrated solution and to expand business operations in Korea and abroad.

This agreement was signed to jointly develop a smart ward solution that integrates artificial intelligence, patient monitoring devices, and electronic medical records (EMR), and to actively pursue commercialization. The three companies plan to combine their core technologies to build an integrated solution that analyzes patients' biosignal data in real time and automates clinical workflows.
The main areas of cooperation include real-time EMR integration of patient monitoring device data; development of AI-based patient condition analysis and early warning (EWS) systems; speech-recognition-based medical record automation; planning and commercialization of smart integrated package products; and the execution of pilot hospital demonstration projects.
Each company will leverage its area of expertise to divide responsibilities. SelvasAI will handle AI analysis algorithms based on patient biosignals, early risk prediction models, and speech-recognition-based medical record automation solutions. Mediana will provide multi-parameter patient monitoring device data and support medical device interfacing technologies, while EzCareTech will take charge of EMR integration interfaces and system UI·UX development.
The core objective is to streamline hospital workflows and implement an AI-based early response system to detect patient deterioration. Additionally, introducing voice-based medical record automation is expected to significantly reduce clinicians' workload and improve bed management efficiency.
After refining the solution through domestic pilot hospital demonstrations, the three companies plan to jointly pursue entry into global markets, including the Middle East. In particular, because EzCareTech has experience successfully supplying a hospital information system (HIS) to Saudi Arabia's Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA), it is expected to play a central role in overseas business expansion based on that track record.
Hong Woo-seon, CEO of EzCareTech, said this collaboration will further strengthen the data linkage platform capabilities centered on hospital information systems and serve as an opportunity to accelerate expansion into overseas markets.
Kwak Min-chul, CEO of SelvasAI and Mediana, emphasized that they will develop the smart ward model integrating AI, medical devices, and EMR as an innovative solution that simultaneously improves patient safety and clinicians' operational efficiency.
